They promise to give employees the opportunity and time to combine their regular, day-to-day work with PhD research under university supervision. And, you can choose from a wide range of specialist fields.

A supportive graduate entry scheme

The PROfessional and GRaduate Entry Support Scheme (PROGRESS) offers a fast-track path to start your career at EADS. You will have the opportunity to join two different streams:

• Technically oriented, comprises fields like Engineering, Programmes, Supply Chain, IT, Quality, Customer Services or Manufacturing (around 70% of positions).

• • Support functions such as Procurement, Finance, Human Resources, Strategy, Business Development or Marketing and Sales (around 30% of positions).

That way you will be part of a challenging project assignment at one of the EADS divisions for the first two years – then move to a new position in a different division and/or country.

Additionally, you will be given the opportunity to take part in tailor-made workshops. A personal mentor from senior management will also support you during the 24 months to give you regular guidance, support and feedback.

Last but not least: Opportunities for internships

EADS is also always happy to take on new interns. An EADS internship offers you the chance to use your theoretical knowledge and apply it first-hand to real situations and assignments during your studies. Given a high level of responsibility, plenty of learning and development opportunities, and all the support you need, you will tackle interesting challenges on state-of-the-art products.
