In order to look toward attaining your highest level of success, you must first consider your leadership style. Research shows that higher ranking people are told less about their performance, and their self-evaluations result in them ranking themselves higher than others would honestly rank them. 

In order to maximize productivity, improve performance and attain potential, we need to conduct an honest and straightforward self-evaluation that assesses our performance against what objective researchers have learned about those who are considered top performers.

There are many leadership styles, and all of them have their advantages. Many effective leaders use a combination of styles, or convert to another style on an as necessary basis.

By determining your leadership style, you can better understand your performance, how well you relate to others and what changes or adjustments should be made in order to make others more willing to listen to your commands and to work with you in a better, more efficient manner.
