What is the item glossary all about?

The item glossary offers a combination of technical terms for mechanical engineering and a specialized dictionary. The item glossary contains an English-German technical dictionary including 26,000 keywords. It explains keywords which are used in mechanical engineering studies and also incorporates content from the “Dictionary of mechanical engineering & electrical engineering German-English” by Günter Glass.

The glossary is continuously being expanded and cross references for cognate disciplines are added. You can access the glossary through the multilingual dictionary by entering a term into the search form. The system will then display a number of results including all entries listed in the dictionary. Keywords with a glossary entry will be marked with a “G”.
