The problem of using a common language as medium of instruction in schools and colleges has been a matter of concern in various countries. When students come together in a particular class/educational institution, they are all not from the same linguistic background. This makes the task of content-area subject teachers difficult to cope with. This book is an attempt to suggest strategies as to how they can not only cope with the problem but also help the students overcome it. It will be quite useful to both practising teachers and teacher trainees.
