With perceptual positions we take the individual positions of ourselves, the other and a neutral observer. Within these perceptions we ask ourselves questions to from that position to help garner deeper understanding of the drives from that position and how the interaction was viewed. We give ourselves opportunity to identify information, overt and covert data, that we potentially did not pay attention to. We build empathy and observe our interaction without bias and opinion.
