About the Author

Lori Harvill Moore has been writing for more than three decades, both as a freelancer and on the job. She is an avid supporter of improving literacy skills in adults and children. Moore has a passion for writing about communication. She holds a bachelor's degree in communication from Arizona State University. Throughout her working career as an information specialist, manager, and data analyst, Moore privately noted how communication works and doesn't work in organizations of varying sizes and structures, then applied what she learned to her writing.
