Being a Leader that is operates from emotional competency can be challenging. A place to begin is by challenging our behaviours looking at 8 primary areas. The 8 Ps are: People orientated, Progressive, Persistent, Principled, Participating, Passion for growth and development, Positive communicator, Purpose. These 8 areas are practical areas to rethink EQ and how we relate to those we lead. By looking at ourselves first and understanding how we want to relate to the world, we see our own obstacles. The 8 Ps are the areas we can start practicing new behaviour that aligns with our new insight.
