With mental health becoming an increasingly important topic due to the duress caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, there still remains an area of maintaining mental health that is not discussed enough, and is not often kept in mind in even the most benign situations possible. In both the workplace and study environments, conversations surrounding marginalization are common but rarely do people take into account the stress they may cause. Here’s a brief overview of how to create a healthier environment and how to help prevent the reliving of traumatic events during those conversations.
