Have you been told, despite doing an amazing job, "You are just not leadership material?"
Join us for a one-hour virtual classroom event focused on empowering women in leadership. In this workshop, we will delve into the three key factors that are holding women back from being perceived as the effective leaders they know themselves to be:
In Section 1, we will explore the phenomenon known as "Another PhD syndrome - enough-ness the secret saboteur." Many incredibly accomplished women suffer from feeling like they aren't enough and constantly question their own abilities. We will uncover why this happens, ways to overcome this thinking and unleash your true potential.
Section 2 will tackle the issue of body language and its impact on equalising status. Often, women unintentionally display submissive body language, which can hinder their authority in the workplace. Through practical exercises and expert guidance, you will learn how to project confidence and assertiveness through your non-verbal communication.
Finally, in Section 3, we will address the subtle yet powerful influence of hedging language. Women tend to use phrases like "may I" instead of "shall we," inadvertently diminishing the value and expertise they are bringing to the table. Changing our language can significantly change how we feel about ourselves and how others see us too.
This workshop is designed to equip women with the knowledge and approaches needed to break through barriers and excel in leadership roles. Join us and unlock your full potential at work and in life!
