A personal development plan examines the key aspects of life, pursuing personal and career growth or change when needed. It promotes self-responsibility, and a sense of ownership for personal, professional, and career development. It assesses personal strengths and weaknesses, decides on a mission and objectives, aligns core values and beliefs, and identifies training and development needs. It then draws up an action plan, implements, reviews, and evaluates to get the job done effectively.
