When we start to observe ourselves without judgement or preconceived ideals, we recognise how we are showing up in the world. We can begin to identify what we are presenting to those around us, what we are communicating through our behaviour and words. Self-awareness is bound to starting to know and understand us, how we make others feel and what others are led to believe about us through what we are presenting. We are often unaware of these things because we falsely believe that others know what our intention is. The issue is, without self-awareness, we don’t know what it is either.
