Thoughts can be all consuming and we feel like we are chasing them and the more we chase the more confusion and chaos follow. Taking a moment to focus the thoughts through reflective questioning helps us find the loose thread to connect the thoughts for relief. We start with asking ourselves where the thought came from or when it started. The aim then is not for contemplation or understanding but rather to regain control, so they do not control you. This is achieved by classifying then and deciding of the usefulness.
