Kenneth W. McCravy is Professor of Biological Sciences at Western Illinois University (USA). He received his MS in Ecological Sciences from Old Dominion University and his PhD in Entomology from the University of Georgia (both USA). His research interests are in the ecology, biogeography, and conservation biology of insects and other invertebrates. His current research focuses on Midwestern U.S. bees, ground beetles, robber flies, and terrestrial gastropods, as well as orchid bees and other Hymenoptera of Honduras. He teaches courses in biogeography, entomology, and invertebrate zoology.
