This talk explores what the term unconscious bias means and how everyone has it but explains that it is how we act on our unconscious prejudices and stereotypes that makes the difference to our own personal growth and to organisations thriving. It explains where our unconscious biases come from and identifies the different types of biases and how they can operate. It also covers the 2 different types of thinking that can help either drive or counterbalance our unconscious biases and also informs of one, very simple and straightforward question we can ask ourselves to try and identify and control our own personal biases.
