Suzanne Lieurance is a former classroom teacher now a full time freelance writer, speaker, and writing coach.

She is the author of more than two dozen published books and has written articles for a variety of magazines, newsletters, ezines, and websites including Family Fun, New Moon for Girls, Children’s Writer, Kansas City Weddings, Instructor magazine, The Journal of Reading, and many others.

Lieurance taught children’s writing for the Institute of Children’s Literature from 2000 to 2008, and she now teaches a variety of online writing workshops for both children and adults.
