Popular Agile frameworks were developed as a result of the Manifesto for Agile Software Development. They were based on the experiences of small software development projects. These frameworks are challenged when other teams want to implement them to become Agile.Information Technology is a supporting function in an organization and should not drive Agility at the enterprise level. Adopting Agile is a business process, not a technology modernization. The IT department is a critical enabler for the Agile Enterprise and must support the business becoming Agile.
