The subconscious is a storehouse of ideas and thus plays a vital role in creativity. Many famous people came up with their most brilliant ideas and inventions after a dream or were inspired by serendipitous events. All creative people like Leonardo da Vinci are great notetakers. Thinking creatively can be encouraged by having a positive mindset, adopting the right approach and having fun during the process of idea generation. New ideas may be triggered off by the acronym CAMPERS and other brainstorming techniques which can be a great generator of ideas.
