There is a difference between leaders and managers. Leaders embrace change, while managers administer it. Leaders follow the sequence of the SPEWSIC model when problem-solving to think strategically. SPEWSIC is an acronym for Strategic objectives, Position audit, Environmental analysis, WOTS up analysis, Strategies to fill the gap, Implementation, and Control. It provides comprehensive systematic guidelines through which the leader’s strategic thinking is put into action and brought to fruition.
