Promotion, demotion, redundancy, and frustrated ambitions are typical stressors that many employees may experience in their lifetimes. Work relationships are one of the greatest sources of organisational stress. They arise due to friction, personality clashes, backbiting, misunderstandings, and breakdowns in communications.
