Giving feedback can be uncomfortable for both the giver and receiver. If done correctly giving feedback can become a great experience for both parties involved and can lead to a more harmonious working environment. Feedback is such an important part of being a professional developer. Most of us get it sporadically throughout our careers - in university classes, through on-the-job training or from peers and managers with whom we've had good relationships. By giving more structured feedback we have started addressing these situations in which giving feedback happens incidentally. A great talk!
