Description

This book sets out the principles of how to get yourself into print – a way to positively enhance your profile, extend publicity for yourself, your organisation and your product or service and thus boost sales.

It reviews the opportunities offered by so doing and explains something of the options for action (from getting a publisher to self-publishing), and how to get the most from something once it is published. It also reviews the job of writing: from selecting topics to structuring content and getting the words down quickly and well.

Content

  1. Introduction: a profitable opportunity
  2. The range of opportunities
  3. Selecting topics and structuring and presenting messages
  4. Creating the message
  5. Using language/examples and creating an acceptable style
  6. Maximising the exposure of the finished text

Patrick Forsyth is a consultant, trainer and writer. He has worked with organisations large and small and in many different parts of the world. He is the author of many successful books on management, business and careers and prides himself on having a clear how-to style.

His writing extends beyond business and he has had published humorous books (e.g. Empty when half full) and light-hearted travel writing: his latest travel book is about Thailand and is titled Smile because it happened.
